About Us

Yuma, Arizona. This was our carport on the Marine Corps base where all the magic started. The above picture is a homemade lathe I built to construct a unique departing gift for a fellow Marine. I find joy in knowing people and making things that they will appreciate. Every person is unique, and every person should receive service that fits them. We tie each project together with our love of carpentry as an art and science so the project is completed well and makes sense. We go through the extra effort of maintaining a website, social media, ads, marketing, upkeep, and so much more because it just makes sense to us to help you feel comfortable you’re hiring the right contractor. Essentially, we want to be the crew for your job because it’s simple: we love what we do! How often do you find a contractor who loves what they do, enjoys the process, communicates well, and is someone you would appreciate doing more business with? If you’re looking for someone who’s serious about your project, then so are we.

Building has always intrigued me. I used to get in trouble at home when I was young because when I started beating a nail into a door to hang a hat on, dad would fuss at me for putting a hole in it. I would notice broken things at stores and ask myself why no one was fixing them. The Marines gave me an outlet as a leader to take initiative when I saw something was off, or needed to be established. I turned this initiative back on our household in Yuma and began building and fixing things. This would turn into a career after I left the USMC and lead me to love what I do! Here we are, establishing this website because I truly believe it will be one of our biggest tools in changing the world.

Our plan is to grow bigger and donate more time and materials to needed infrastructure projects in our community. Currently, High Caliber Carpentry donates about $5,000.00 worth of labor every other year during Yadkin County’s ministry “Impact Yadkin”. Churches all over the county gather together and support the teams throughout the many communities who are replacing roofing, replacing a rotten deck, building a handicap ramp, doing a bathroom renovation, and more! There are usually around 1,000 people involved overall with planning, food preparation, construction work, delivering materials, support, and more - all for those who are unable to physically or financially support the project on their own. It truly is the hands and feet of Christ in our county and we love to be a part of the change starting in our own backyard. Imagine supporting and growing that change through your projects!

We love that you’ve come to visit us and invite you to browse around to see how we can help you. If you don’t see a service that you need, please send a message so we can talk about what you’re looking at doing. Most of the time we can help you take care of it! Other times we don’t and we can recommend someone who would be suitable.

Make yourself at home :)
